Sure seems that way. I really don't know, having not met anyone here in real life.

So the "getting the friend code" business is taking a while because I was stupid and didn't check for the code earlier. There is a HUGE possibility that I won't be able to play tomorrow, I apologize. (As soon as find the code though, I'll give it to you.)

Does anyone think it's legit? Or is it a fake since it's too early?

Yeah, there's no way that's real. It's pretty easy to tell if a character roster for Smash Bros. is fake. If they use artwork from other games, it's probably fake. If they use characters that have been in past Smash Bros. games, but had the same movesets as other characters, also known as "clones", they won't be in. If the characters are from games released years before, such as MOTHER 3, (Masked Man) a previous Pokemon generation, (Mewtwo) or Roy (Fire Emblem), chances are they won't be joining the rumble/fight/fray/brouhaha or whatever the game is subtitled. And of course, there will probably be only a handful of third-party characters, I mean, Nintendo needs to really WORK to make that dream come true. Bomberman and Chibi-Robo might have a chance to be in it, since Hudson was absorbed by Konami, but still, Cheebo's only a few inches tall. Paper Mario would be shredded easily. Mega Man...I dunno. I've never even played a Mega Man game before, *dodges tomatoes* but I want to someday. Also, for some reason people want NARUTO in a Smash Bros. game. It's frikkin' SMASH BROS. Naruto is an ANIME. Sure, he's got games in his franchise, but he's not a game character in his own right.

I think I sounded a little like Jeff Foxworthy right there. bounce

Any how, Earthbound/Mother lacks no character support. However Sakurai has already said he feels the game has enough reps. Old characters entering the fray are still likely. AS a matter of fact, Mewtwo is heavily lobbied for.
Along side him?
Ridley, K. Rool, currently Ghirahim as a Skyward Sword rep, Saki, Issac, Palutena, and a number of others.
Zoruark is actually lobbied against!
Geno was heavily lobbied for through brawl, however he didn't appear. It's firmly believed that he was removed last minute due to square being difficult.
3rd party characters are odd to say the least. It's all about the right people talking, and is hardily 'a lot of work' when you think about it.
Kojima's kid said, "I want snake in smash!" Kojima dialed up his ole buddy Sakurai and Sakurai was like WHY NOT!?

Megaman in smash was on the minds of both Sakurai and Inafune. But they both expected the other to come to THEM to ask. Neither said a word and so Megaman was left out of the game.
Another third party character being lobbied for is Rayman believe it or not.

And of course Sakurai said as early as Melee, no anime or manga characters.

Yeah, I meant Isaac from Golden Sun. However due to the popularity of Dark Dawn, Matthew his son is just as likely.
