should there be a Legend of Zelda movie?

i think it would be interesting. i mean, they've made movies for just about every other video game series ever made, even super mario bros. SUPER MARIO BROS., FOR GOD SAKE!!! who's to say they're cant be a zelda movie. IGN made a fake trailer a while back, with enough material left to make an actual movie, (seriously, go on youtube and look it up. theres a behind the scenes) but it was all a prank. although, it did look pretty good. to see the "trailer", go to the link below:

check out the release date, it pretty much gives it away.

If it's not that "Hero of Time" prank IGN pulled, then I'd be fine with it.

i agree with you. although, some people would be worried that whoever made the movie, or if there were to be a movie at all, it would screw everything up. i, for one, am one of those people.

I really hope Nintendo considers it. An Ocarina of time or Majora's Mask one would be cool.

Although Majora's Mask would be rather... dark...

And Ocarina of Time is more famous, but not as dark, and might be too long for a movie...

If it's James Cameron doing a Twilight Princess, then maybe. Otherwise, it's gonna be like that Super Mario Bros. film (according to UNcyclopedia, it's successful).

well, james cameron did create the biggest movie of all time. but if it was in 3D, would you still see it? i would question going to see it because im getting really sick of the 3D fad. it was sweet at first, but now its just annoying. although, if it was james cameron, he would definitely know what he was doing. for avatar he used special cameras and made it brighter so it would look its best in 3D.

and if it was ocarina of time, they could probably split it into two movies.

If it were Twilight Princess, it would be three. The same amount of time I spent on a boss in OoT I spent on half a boss in Twilight Princess. Not arguing over which game is better, but TP is more cinematic and much longer for me.

Hmmm... I'd give an opinion, but I can't understand it. I don't even know where to go to get to the first dungeon.

my issue is the actor.... link cosplayers and actors and such just never seem to look right. If they could make it entirely CGI that would be a different story.

You haven't seen PikminLink's Link costume then. Her Link costume is so awesome, it got her all the way to Nintendo of Japan, and she got to meet the Man in person. Miyamoto said that her costume and ThePrincessZelda's costumes were perfect.

As for a movie, I say go for it ONLY if they get a big-shot director (I'm talking Stephen Speilberg (sp?), George Lucas, etc...) and they can get good costumes, actors, effects, etc...

After the BMB Finishes movie, I've gotten wary of Zelda movies.

Cosplayers with bad outfits must die. Nuff said.
